I second this occurence and actually was going to make a list serve
announcement but forgot. Three weeks ago I went to Huntley Meadows and
noticed the Fish Crows attaching Mallard, GW teal and N. Pintails. It didn't
seem that the Crows were harrassing them for food because none of the
attacked birds had food. Any suggestions?

I witnessed a strange occurence at Huntley Meadows this morning that
appeared to be a Fish Crow attacking a male Mallard. It's possible that
this was accidental, but I'm don't know.
The first eight images in my Huntley gallery show the sequence of shots I
took. Since this was done with a manually focused 500mm lens, they are
not the sharpest pictures I have take, but the quality is not that bad. I
was photographing the Fish Crow because it had a stick in its bill, and I
noticed there was an interaction between the crow and the duck, but it
wasn't until I got the pictures on my computer that I realized the full
impact.
