Birders,
Plenty of nice birds at Mason Neck State Park yesterday, even in the
morning's drizzle. Highlight was a male PROTHONOTARY WARBLER singing and
posing atop a dead snag in the beaver marsh. I also had first-of-season
RED-EYED VIREO singing in the forest, more COMMON LOONS, and a BARN SWALLOW
darting over the bay. Full list follows:
