Hello, birders.
I visited the Great Marsh Trail around noon today to
see what waterfowl were around. I also hoped to spot
some Osprey. The skies were variably cloudy and it
was windy (SW) at the marsh.

Mallard, 10+
No. Pintail, 10+
G.w. Teal, 6+
scaup sp., 35+, in Potomac
Com. Merganser, 35
G.B. Heron, 2
T. Vulture, 2
Osprey, 1
B. Eagle, 3. 1 pair plus another ad. The pair was on
the nest together for a time. I tried to see if
nestlings were present but I couldn't be sure as the
nest is quite far from the observation deck.
