[va-bird] Mason Neck - Eagle Release

There was quite a good showing for the release of the bald eagle at
Mason Neck State Park on Saturday morning. There were well over 100
people. Ed Clark was clearly very surprised (but pleased) at the large
turnout. He said he expected more like 20 or so people.

It was a memorable experience.

I took a few pictures and have put together a simple web page. If you
would like to take a look here is the link to the web page with the
pictures:

I got some reasonable shots of the preparation leading up to the
release, but once the bird was in the air, it was hard to get a shot. I
did manage to get one shot of the bird as she flew away, but it is
blurry and the bird is pretty small.
