A Manx Shearwater flew through the channel and into the Bay while Fred
Blystone and I were birding the public island of the Chesapeake Bay
Bridge-tunnel
for about 2 hours this morning, January 14th. There were hundreds of
Bonaparte's Gulls among the hundreds of Ring-billed Gulls and Herring Gulls.
In the
afternoon at the same spot there was also an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull
and several Laughing Gulls.
