It was a beautiful day to be outside. Six folks, Jack, Marie, Jack, Mary,
Jeanne-Marie and Michael parked at the Stone house (corner of Rt 234 and Rt 29)
and walked the Battlefield to the Law Enforcement area also called Sparrow
Alley. While we did not see may sparrows the day was fantastic, comraderie was
wonderful and although not high numbers, the birding was excellent. There were
great views of the Cedar Waxwings, Golden and Ruby-crowned Kinglets as well as
a nice flyby of an Eastern Meadowlark.
