The big white oaks in my Lynchburg backyard this morning produced a single
singing Blackburnian, Blackpoll, and Black-throated Blue Warbler. Along the
James River just north of Lynchburg in Amherst County at the end of Salt
Creek Road the best bird a was a late Winter Wren, as well as a singing
Wilson's Warbler and Northern Waterthrush.
