At first light this morning I heard a Louisiana waterthrush singing along the
Rapidan River at the Rapidan WMA just below Hoover camp. Other highlights of
the weekend camping trip were numerous fox sparrows, many singing eastern
phoebes, and an Am. woodcock flushed at the Hoover camp.
