I saw yesterday (Saturday, March 20th) my first Louisiana Waterthrush of the
year along the creek below the Parkway here in far western Franklin County. It
seemed somewhat out of place since I also saw the Sapsuckers and Brown Creepers
yesterday, as well as the few remaining Golden-crowned Kinglets. Also, the Tree
Swallows returned to the fields and ponds early last week.
