[va-bird] Loons on the Nansemond River

I almost forgot, Common Loons are, well, common here right now on the
Nansemond River.
So, I was happy to see two (2) Red-throated Loons loafing & preening just a
few yards off the bank on March 21. Other than one bird I saw fly over the
Godwin Bridge a day or two earlier, it was the first time since last winter
(2001-2002) to find them from our point here in the river. It was
definitely the best & closest view I've had of that species.
