Something to also keep in mind, after viewing the pictures from this expedition. If you're not "swamp savvy" and willing to spend hours and days in chest-high waders and kayaks in areas more friendly to snakes and mosquitoes than people, it's best to look from the safety of our homes. The last thing we want is to have money spent on rescuing would-be searchers, when it could have been spent protecting the bird and its habitat.
