VA BIRDers,
Marc Ribaudo and I birded Leesylvania SP this morning - activity was slow at
first but picked up by mid-morning, esp. along the thicketed hillsides NW of
the beaver pond. No real stand out species for the day, but a solid Red-headed
WP flight and great shows by empids, No. Parulas, Am. Redstarts, both tanagers,
and Baltimore Orioles. Common Yellowthroats exhibited a big push. The
notables are recorded below.
