It was very quiet but a beautiful afternoon at Ft. Smith. I didn't expect to
see much, but between 4-5 PM today, little by little, the birds revealed
themselves.
Most interesting was a (different individual) orchard oriole, this one the
first year male -- yellow-green with that distinctive black throat. He was
rarely out in the open, rather reclusive, but eventually couldn't resist the
bird-stream, came down and bathed thoroughly.
