Clyde and Alan Kessler and I birded the New River Valley Airport &
vicinity on Rt. 100 in Pulaski Cty. this morning. Highlights follow:
N. Harrier 1 (imm.)
Cooper's Hawk 1 (imm.)
Am. Kestrel 1
Horned Lark 150 (+12 at the Cleburne wayside area on Rt.
100--there's manure on the fields, it's probably worth
checking regularly)
Lapland Longspur 14
Snow Bunting 2
E. Meadowlark 20
We also had a Fox Sparrow along Hazel Hollow Rd. in Radford
