[va-bird] Kiptopeke banding 10/30:Still lots of birds around

Howdy all,
Before I forget, I wanted to plug my blog page again. I have been trying to
get it updated a bit. I am still having problems with the season totals. They
are there, but they look bad. Forgive me! Anyway, here is the link.

After missing the last two days banding because of the bad weather, we were
finally able to open the nets today. And as the last few days have been, there
was a lot of birds around again this morning. We ended up banding 439 birds
today of 21 species. We had a few nice birds, including a getting late
BLACK-THROATED BLUE WARBLER and BLUE-HEADED VIREOS. We had both races of PALM
WARBLERS.
YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS continue to be the dominate species.
I am hopeful that the numbers continue over the next few days. We are having
a very good season here this year!

Here are the totals for 10/30:
