Howdy all,
Yes we managed to band both days. We were all hoping for a day off this
morning, but once again, no luck in that category.
The winds were not that bad today but there was very little movement. We caught
only ten birds before the rains set in a little after noon.
I have given up looking at the forecast for the shore. Seems the weathermen
have a little problem. They been wrong a lot more than they have been right
this year. So who knows what the next few days will hold. I do have a feeling
that Yellow-rumps will be here in the next two days. Bring them on!

Whenever the wind turns around and blows from the north, I am expecting it to
be the best front of the season. Lots of diversity and lots of birds as a
whole. This is the best time of the fall to see just about anything. Could be
an interesting week.
Hope to see you all at the banding station!
Cheers,
Jethro
