[va-bird] King Rail Manassas 8/25

I saw the King Rail at 10:15 this morning, at the first pond on the left, at
Pageland Farm (6312 Pageland Lane) in Manassas. He was foraging amongst the
grasses at pond's edge, on both sides of the fallen cedar in the water. The
bird was easily seen from the road. When I first arrived, he scooted into the
grasses, but came back out in ten minutes, so I didn't even need to play a
tape. Also present were: Green Heron, Lesser Yellowlegs, Semipalmated
Sandpiper (juvenile), Bobwhite, Red-tailed Hawk (3), Am. Kestrel, Am.
Goldfinch, and lots o' butterflies.
