Yesterday, I visited the Kerr Reservoir area in Mecklenburg County.  I
didn't find anything spectacular but had a few good birds.  I totaled 61

Ring-necked Duck  1 male
Red-shouldered Hawk  1
Red-tailed Hawk  3
Northern Harrier  1 adult male
Wilson's Snipe  1
Eastern Phoebe  1
House Wren  1
Hermit Thrush  2
Chipping Sparrow

Swamp Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow  2 ad., 3 imm.

TAILRACE PARK
Herring Gull  2 imm.
Bald Eagle  2 ad., 3 imm.
Red-breasted Nuthatch  1

The Bonaparte's Gulls are numerous down there rivaling the Ring-billed
Gull numbers.  Good birding.
