I visited Kerr Reservoir in Mecklenburg County today in the hopes for some migrants. The following are some of the birds I saw: Pied-billed Grebe, Double-crested Cormorant (many), Great Blue Heron, Wood Duck, Red-breasted Merganser (1 female), Ruddy Duck (2), Osprey, Bald Eagle, Northern Harrier (male), Killdeer, Ring-billed Gull (many), Belted Kingfisher, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker, Red-headed Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Eastern Phoebe, White-breasted Nuthatch, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Yellow-rumped Warbler, Savannah Sparrow, Song Sparrow and White-throated Sparrow. Good birding. Adam D'Onofrio Keysville You are subscribed to VA-BIRD.
