Kites were seen up until about 7:00 pm today with more being seen in the late
morning.
Many have asked when is the best time see the kites.
Unscientifically...I'd have to say in the morning hours up until 1200. They
seem to be closer to "home" during those hours. But frankly, I saw 6 yesterday
1900 and 5 at 1700.
The light for seeing, scoping and photos is much better in the morning hours.
Though there is more nesting activity, they all seem to disappear towards early
evening. But 90% of the time there is one back in the dead tree when I leave
for work at 0630.
