Cliff,
On Route US 1 South turn left onto Neabsco Road, and go east for about one
mile. On the left is the small parking lot with a couple of signs. Park
there and head west along the trail back towards US 1 for a few hundred
yards. The trail parallels Neabsco Road and then will go up a little hill
before turning right. The monument is at the bottom of the hill next to a
large holly tree. I would recommend standing on the hill, looking down at
the monument, and waiting there for the sparrows to come in. I was there
last week and it took over an hour of waiting for the Harris's to show up,
but it was worth the wait! Good luck and let us know how it goes.
