Hola Birders,
Today the CBBT island #1 was worth the visit! Sparrows included, Saltmarsh
Sharp-tailed (2), Song (5+), White-crowned (1), White-throated (1+), Swamp
(2-3). Recovered birds included: Swamp Sparrow, Bobolink (old), Magnolia
Warbler, Common Yellowthroat. There was also a Virginia Rail hidden between
a stack of construction cones and the wall.
One Purple Sandpiper was present along with many Sanderlings and Ruddy
Turnstones. Four Surf Scoters were seen in very close and a possible
White-winged was seen between 2 and 3 on our way home.
