I did a some gull watching from Browns Island late this afternoon
(4:15pm-5:00pm). Probably about 500 or 600 gulls present. The majority were
GREAT BLACK-BACKED (mostly adults) then HERRING (mostly 1st Winter), and no
more than 100 RING-BILLED. 2 LESSER BLACK-BACKED (1 adult, 1 3rd Winter),
and a single ICELAND GULL (1st Winter). All reasonably close and well scoped
and studied. Dodgy photos available on request.
Also of note was a PEREGRINE on top of Federal Reserve Bank building.
