[va-bird] Huntley shorebirds

Huntley Meadows had a great selection of shorebirds late this morning. Along
with the usual fare of killdeer, solitary, spotted, and both yellowlegs I found
1 or 2 Wilson's snipe, 2 semipalmated plover, 1 western sandpiper, 1
semipalmated sandpiper, and at least 6 least sandpipers. Also present were the
little blue heron and broad-winged hawk.
I also visited Possum Pt./Cockpit Pt. this morning. Not as diverse as
yesterday, but I did find 2 common mergansers, about a dozen red-breasted
mergansers, and 18 warbler species, including hooded and chestnut-sided.
