This is the first chance I got today to post my list from Huntley this AM.
Many of the highlights were also seen by others. Many of the below birds were
singing as the sunrise progressed. The WILD TURKEY were gobbling out of their
roost somewhere in the woods on the hike-bike side. GREEN HERON vocalized from
the beginning of the boardwalk as you enter the marsh. WORM-EATING WARBLER
well heard by Ed Eder and I from the treetops.
The EASTERN WOOD-PEWEE is perhaps suspect. It was heard only, and from the
woods, but it sounded perfect giving the complete song. Sounded like the real
thing to me.
