Gentle Readers,
Barbara Perry and Harry Glasgow led a group of 13 other birders on the Monday
Morning Birdwalk at Huntley Meadows Park this morning, 4/4/2005. It was a
bright sunny day, cool, with light breezes from 0700 until 0930 this morning --
a perfect day to see the signs of a maturing Spring season. There were Eastern
Towhee, Tree Sparrows, and a Barn Swallow; yet, the Dark-eyed Juncos were still
at the feeder. The Goldfinch are in transitional plumage. The Warblers will
be with us soon.
