Hello, birders.
I spent a little time at Huntley this afternoon. I did not see the previously
reported Greater White-fronted Goose or the Common Teal and neither did a few
other birders that I spoke with.
The wetland was loaded with waterfowl, though:
Can. Goose, 200+
Mallard, 50+
No. Shoveler, 10
No. Pintail, 20
Green-winged Teal, 60
and other stuff:
Ring-billed Gull, 250. More than I can remember ever seeing here.
Fish Crow, 40+ in the general area
Song, Swamp and White-throated Sparrows
Red-winged Blackbird, flock of 30 females
