I was at Huntley Meadows quite late in the morning on Tues. Jan. 30,
with hopes of finding the Wilson's Snipe mentioned in other VA-BIRD
posts the last couple of days. I was glad I came. I used my
binoculars to search the reeds below the 'tower' and there it was,
basically out in the open next to the slight 'channel' that sort of
runs out from the front of the tower area. Couldn't have found it
without binoculars. Got 5 minutes or more of looking at it before it
decided to run and disappear among thicker clumps of 'reeds.'
