[va-bird] Huntley Meadows - 05/24/06

Birded Huntley this morning from 7-9AM.  Highlight, about 8AM, was the pair
of yellow-crowned night herons that did a flyover then roosted in a tall
dead tree full of woodpecker holes, on the right in the open area  just
after one comes out of the woods onto the boardwalk.

female wood duck with ducklings (saw two different females with broods)
killdeer
least sandpiper (several)
semi-palmated plover (several)
solitary sandpiper (several)
yellowlegs
great egret (two)
great blue heron
blue winged teal
yellow crowned night heron
green heron
red bellied woodpecker
