[va-bird] Huntley Meadows

I got up too late to see the blackburnian warbler, but the Monday morning
birdwalkers can probably thank me for that sighting, as the best stuff is
always seen when I don't make it (Betsy's Rule--the owl last week was
another example).

I did see the sora, a couple snipe, a pileated woodpecker and the little
blue heron as well as several other nice birds for me.

Digiscoped pictures of most, including the sora, can be found at my birdblog
www.birdlist.blogspot

Bad news for the Monday Bird Walk: I swear I'm going to be there at 7 AM
next week! All we will see will be titmice, redwinged blackbirds, canada
geese and cardinals.
