I saw one adult Mississippi Kite at Huntley Meadows Park today. I was at the
tower for about 45 minutes when at 12:40 the Kite appeared from the direction
of Barnyard Run. It started off farily low when I first saw it but it
continued circling and climbing the for the next 5 or so minutes. It then
flew directly over the tower and went in the direction of the start of the
boardwalk. By this time it was little more than a speck, even in binoculars.
