Excitement reigns at our house in Springfield, VA (suburban community of
Washington DC, inside the beltway) -- a mature male hummingbird showed up
this afternoon! He used the feeder we put out this week and flew around
checking out our backyard. He could be one of last year's young males,
looking to see if his favorite plants are still available. A wonderful
Easter gift...
