Hi VA Birders
Dave Worley, Judy Settle, and myself birded Hidden Vally WMA this morning from
about 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.  The highlights were:
Black-throated Green
Black-throated Blue
Chestnut-sided
Black and White
American Red Start
Worm-eating
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Broad-winged Hawk
and the drumming of the Ruffed Grouse.

Saturday the 20th well know bird watcher Dave Worley will lead the Russell
County Bird Club walk around the lake.  Sitting at an elevation of 3600 feet
the birding is excellent.  The walk is level and easy and the company will be
outstanding.  Meeting time is 8:00 AM in Lebanon, those coming from Abingdon
can meet at the base of the mountain.
See You
