After John Coe's report of a Prothonotary at nearby Deep Bottom yesterday, I
hoped for one at Henricus today. No such luck. The biggest surprise was
the WILD TURKEY that I flushed while walking down to the blind just past the
0.5 mile marker.
Cold weather seems to have held up some of the expected migrants.
