Ann, the boardwalk is at the end of the trail from the visitor center parking
lot. From the parking lot follow the gravel trail on the left and go to the end
and the boardwalk is on the left.
There isn't a bald eagle nest at Henricus although eagles are frequently seen.
You most likely saw a muskrat rather than a beaver as the beavers are seldom
seen.
The RS Hawk nest is in a large sycamore tree on the right side of the
boardwalk. The best view is about 10-15 yards from the end of the boardwalk.
If you go to see the hawks, keep your eyes peeled for the barred owls. They
nested in the same area last year and I saw one of them just a couple of days
ago.
