Folks-
I know this is a complex topic, but i would appreciate any input. Please
respond off list so as not to bother everyone else who has already made
this tough decision!
I have to come to the point where i need a "real" set of binoculars. I
have combed the web, become exhausted by all the information, and tried
many styles. Fortunately (or unfortunately), i simply cannot spend more
than $400, which makes the set of choices a bit more narrow. I had settled
on a pair of Eagle Optics Ranger Platinums (10x42), but was surprised to
find that they are not reviewed many places. So, i was looking for input on
this brand, as well as input on particular binoculars in this class (8-0x,
32-50mm) that others have especially liked/disliked. Again, any help is
appreciated - thanks!
