[va-bird] Harvey's Knob Hawkwatch Wednesday (26 Oct 2005) 78 Raptors

Bill Grant kept the count today and reports cold, blustery winds as high
as 25 mph out of the NW. The birds did not disappoint, 2 adult Bald Eagles
flying together put in an appearance, also an immature Golden Eagle and an
adult
Northern Goshawk. A gorgeous Red-shouldered passed below eye level giving
great looks. On hand to help spot hawks were John and Sharon Williamson, the
Goffs, Andy Biggs, and Jim Hylton. Bill also reports a flock of 60 DC
Cormorants
passing the lookout heading SE.
