Bill Grant kept the count today and reports a slow day, due to mostly SW
winds, recording 3 sharpies and 6 redtails. Bill had "lots of good help"
spotting hawks, including John and Sharon Williamson, John's brother, Cary,
from
Myrtle Beach, Tina Kemper, Liz Williams, and Virginia Shields. In spite of the
low numbers of hawks, the weather was beautiful and Bill said they all had a
great time on the mountain! Several flocks of migrating Goldfinches were noted
flying past the lookout today.
