Joyce and I saw the Harris's Sparrow at Weyer's Cave on Saturday, April 27. It was feeding with White-crowned and White-throated Sparrows under a red quince shrub. What a sight! While we were there we also saw three Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, Black-capped Chickadees and numerous warblers. The Houffs are very gracious hosts and their property is a wonderful bird habitat. Hayes Williams You are subscribed to VA-BIRD.
