Observation start time: 10:00:00
Observation end   time: 15:30:00
Total observation time: 5.5 hours

Official Counter: Joan Boudreau and Bob Abrams

Observers:        Yusuf Gantt

Visitors:
A few muts.

Weather:
Cold and calm. The wind was ESE when it blew.

Raptor Observations:

Non-raptor Observations:
A spectacular day for Common Loons. We counted 885 of them, all traveling
southeast. We had groups of up to 90 birds with an average of about ten
per flock. There were some extremely high birds but several clusters that
were just a few hundred feet above the trees. From 11:30 when they started
until 3:30 you could scan at any time and find a few.

Predictions:
This may be a heck of a day. Clear, cold, with NW winds from 10-20 MPH.
Sounds good to me.
