Clouds moved in late yesterday afternoon and today it was overcast that was
possily associated to tropical storm Gaston. Thankfully our region was
spared any measureable rainfall.
Wind: SE>ESE 1-5km/h (Note: At 4:30p.m. EST, very brisk wind out of SSW,
29-38km/h and clearing skies and air temperature 68 degrees farenheit.)

Cloud Cover: overcast
Precipitation: haze on east and west side of ridge (Note: by 4:30 p.m.
after WEEKS of haze, visibility was improved and we could even see distant
ridge to NW.)
Observations:
Nothing flying today.
Chimney Swift flying high.
Common Nighthawk vigil tonight between 4:30 - 7 p.m. EST with Jim
Fitzgeral, Rick Myers and Brenda Tekin. Total of 148 for the evening, all
flying high on the brisk SSW wind. Thousands of Chimney Swift moved
through non-stop, all heading NW through the gap into the valley over
Waynesboro.

Clearing with mostly sunny!!!
