Another bright blue sky day with NO clouds. Wind shifted to out of the NW.
Yes, at last wind but too few birds.

Cloud Cover: few upper level cirrus clouds all gone by 10 a.m. EST.
Haze moving back in on both sides of the ridge.
Observations:
Rockfish raptorians were able to get a few more than yesterday but not by
much. Airplanes outnumbered raptors. We need an aircraft identification
chart.
A single adult Bald Eagle observed on north side of gap, teasing the
hopeful watchers but it turned back north.
Broad-wings trickled in, bulk between 12 - 3 p.m. EST:

The Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch is held on the grounds of the Inn at Afton,
located on the southern side of Rockfish Gap in the Blue Ridge Mountains,
just above where I-64 (exit 99) intersects with the southern end of the
Skyline Drive and the northern end of the Blue Ridge Parkway, just east of
Waynesboro, VA and approximately 22 miles west of Charlottesville, VA.
