Observers: Hal Wierenga, Harry Armistead, Lynn Davidson,
Scott McConnell
Visitors:
Cindy and Buck Keller; Bill Williams and the elder hostel group; sundry
others. Thanks to Lynn Davidson and Hal Wierenga for all their help and
enthusiasm the last couple of weeks.
Weather:
Light NE winds and not a cloud all day.
Raptor Observations:
Another nice sharpie flight; birds tough to spot in the blue, blue skies.
High number of UI accips due partly to this and partly to some being
spotted way out in a scope.
Non-raptor Observations:
Brown-headed nuthatches squeaking away; still bobolinks and chimney swifts
around; hundreds of myrtle warblers. 1451 blue jays and 653 flickers
southbound; both undercounted due to hawk flight duties.
Predictions:
Increasing clouds, chance of rain.
