Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end time: 17:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Tad Finnell

Observers: Clark Hill, Goffs, John Williamson, Sharon Williamson

Visitors:
Williamsons continue to introduce their grandchildren to hawkwatching.
Welcome Alex!!! Clark and Stevie, The Goffs, Larry the bike guy, and our
AppyT hiker tandem, Dillard and Bill. Lots of other more casual watchers
throughout the day

Weather:
Interesting day. Heavy cloud cover early, gradually decreasing during the
day to pure blue sky. Winds out of the NW, most of the day between a 4
and 5, but oddly enough, with the temps between 11 and 15 degrees C, not
bad enough to drive us to our car as we are accustomed. Valley crystal
clear.

Raptor Observations:
The Windmasters Rule. Steady stream of RTs all day, with a smattering of
Sharpies. 2nd yr. BE at 11:35. Last bird of the day (not the first time)
was a Merlin.

Non-raptor Observations:
From 9 til noon, hundreds of Robins, in groups of 25-50
Also noted were groups of Goldfinch and Waxwings.

Predictions:
Uh oh, did I hear SW winds. Look for the parade to slow down.
