Observation start time: 09:00:00
Observation end   time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 7 hours

Official Counter: Tad Finnell

Observers:        Clark Hill, Goffs

Visitors:
Few visitors today. Clark and Steph there early, and the Goffs came later,
Steve predicting the Golden

Weather:
Strange day. High level winds strong out of the SW, while lower/ground
level winds strong out of the E, causing for most of the day a swirling
cloud effect, as if clouds in a whirlpool.Winds were at least a 3 all day
and what birds were flying were very low

Raptor Observations:
For the first 4 and a half hours there were no observations at all. The
first bird was seen at 2:30 DST, a male Harrier.
3rd yr BE  3:20
Adult GE 3:50

Non-raptor Observations:
Leaf peepers continue in what seems an unending stream. Would have been
great if out BWs had come as steady. Looks
like leaf color peak has passed, with remnants hanging on and with the
coming winds the next couple days, many will drop.

Predictions:
With NW winds taking over, look for birds bottled up north of us to come
storming through.
