Visitors:
The Gilberts came by, but Mrs, stayed in the car. He is a WWII veteran who
told some stories with prodding.
Weather:
Heavy rain overnight with predictions of cloudiness and storms during today
gave way to clearing skies at about 11:00. Wind from the South all day
with a wraparound Southeast wind on the mountain, a headwind. The South
wind brought warm temperatures, but the coat came out later in the day.
Early there was no appreciable wind on the face, but considerable wind in
the bending boughs.
Raptor Observations:
Most hawks on the East side heading straight into the wind with slow
progress. NG at 4:04.
Non-raptor Observations:
Good help from Norris, Jim H. and Mike P. who helped with the NoGo.
Predictions:
West wind, more hawks.
