While visiting my grandkids in Port Royal, I decided to check the gravel pits west of King George on route 3. I saw a Greater White-fronted Goose foraging near the edge of one of the pits two ponds west of the gate for Aggregate Industries. The bird appeared to be a HATCH YEAR bird and did not associate with the large flock of Canada Geese foraging in the stubble.
