[va-bird] Great wildlife morning in Springfield

I live inside the beltway in North Springfield and this morning as I was 
leaving for work my husband heard a call outside and asked if I could see our 
resident Pileated woodpecker pair.  No woodpeckers but I did see a Red Tailed 
hawk fly through and then two (yes two!) red foxes loped through our back yard 
over the fence and down Backlick Run.  They looked like two mature foxes and 
I'm hoping they were a pair and will stick around. 
 
Not a bad wildlife morning for the inner 'burbs :-)
