Can you provide directions to the Great White Heron? I must have missed the earlier post. How long has this bird been around?

Yesterday, I saw it near the Fishers Hill Battlefield. It was standing next
to the water where that cement bridge is where there is a gate with a cattle 
guard at the entrance to what looks like a horse farm. Where the water
rushes out from a large pipe. I could actually see the water bubbling up. I
was also close enough with binocs to see it very clearly, even the yellow
ish ring around it's black eyes. It was standing on one leg and what a view
of those feet! It was very close to the road and didn't seem bothered by me 
stopping across the road to look at it.
