Because of rain forecasted for Saturday, our Saturday field trip to Great
Dismal Swamp was postponed until Sunday.
We arrived at entrance to Jericho Ditch by 9 a.m.. It was cool and mostly
cloudy with slight breeze which helped in keeping mosquito numbers
down. Compared to recent visits, things were pretty quiet until sun peaked
through mostly cloudy skies. More sun as day progressed...
Some of the day's highlights, including running into group with Cape Henry
Audubon.
